Another rag bag, this section.

Whilst working at Waterstone’s a few blue moons ago (when they still used the possessive apostrophe to remind us that Tim Waterstone founded the chain) I was asked to review books, for the shelves (short ones), for the in-house mag (longer ones), and for a monthly glossy called Dumfries & Galloway Life.

I was also asked to write reviews by HarperCollins Publishing house for a while, and for Human Givens Journal once or twice. A random selection are here, in no particular order, and are more or less useful or interesting depending upon whether you have read, or intend to read, the book in question..

Mostly, though, just to remind myself.
